Typical Spring hiking. Prepare for everything. I wore microspikes most of the way. Just after the chimney it started to get soft, so I changed to snowshoes. Kept them on for the return, until I hit the icy sections.
The section of the trail that meanders through the fir trees, just after the chimney, is lacking for blazes. The wind blown debris is covering the trail, making it tough to follow. |
