| Comments: |
We saw 3 other people, none with snowshoes. They were sinking pretty deep in many places. With the warm weather, snowshoes are really a must. There was a 1/2+ mile stretch below the summit where it was pretty time consuming to get through the balsam fir branches due to the deep snow. This plus the soft conditions slowed us to a point where we turned back at Bondcliff rather than try to get to the other Bonds. |
