2-4" of new snow. We used snowshoes, most people bare-booted; but I saw one woman fall repeatedly with boots only. Once you come out of the trees near the summit, people were very creative with the routes they took. The trail is there, you have to look for it. High winds were obliterating the trail and many people took a detour and used the ski trail for the last part. The observation deck offered no view today, I think most people going up headed for the snack bar. |
