Comments
Comments: Old Mountain Road has a nice snowshoe track set on it right now. Full snow coverage, ice flows bypassed.
Some barebooters come up from the Route 113 side and postholed the Crawford Ridgepole Trail. On behalf of my ankles, thank you.
There's roughly a foot or more of snowpack along Old Mountain Road, while the ridge is variable - a few inches above the notch (wind scoured area) and at the summit viewpoint and a few feet in between. Summit viewpoint will probably be snow free after today.
