Comments
Comments: Road walk and Zealand Trail were hard packed with minimal new snow. Skiable, but just barely. Twinway from Zealand Hut to Zeacliff Trail was postholed by barebooters and snowshoers in warm weather. Able to thread your way through or step off the trail as required. Very tedious going back down. Zealcliff Trail to top of Zealand was very pleasant with fresh snow, fewer postholes, bright sunshine and views. Wore snowshoes from summer trailhead to top going up, to A-Z Trail on the way back down. Met about 20 folks heading to the hut for the night.
