Well Kept Secret! If you need Osceola because you were turned back after East last year with the ice ... well... no one has posted on this, but for snowshoes, the trail is great. Tripoli road up to it is smooth, easy walk, and the trail - some postholing ... is good ... I had powdertails and did not regret going up or down, the snow has a very unstable crust that tolerates my weight distributed across the powdertails. Regular snowshoes with care could work fine. NO MICROSPIKES!!! ... You'll SINK! |
