Comments
Comments: Did the whole hike in microspikes and it was a perfect blue sky day. The trail was packed down completely - didn't fall through once. Some postholes off the side of the trail were pretty deep - up to my waist in areas! Slightly windy at the top, but I was still comfortable without my outer down layer. Visibility was great, I could see the Franconia Ridge. Met one woman on the trail from an online hiking group! Practically ran down the mountain - it was steep and running was more comfortable than slower, more articulated steps. Total trip: 2 hours.
