Comments
Comments: started in snowshoes in fear of a messy soft trail. switched to spikes after less than a mile. narrow rail was hard frozen and not to much of a mess. off rail is posthole material to hip deep. some fresh snow overnight a few inches and it was cold enough overnight to harden the trail. some blue skies later in the day, a bit windy going over to the summit and up on the tower. Took advantage of the tramway building being open. sat by the woodstove with an adult beverage. Cannon is an easy go to for a mountain fix especially after the recent warm weather and previous snow dumps. The Bonds had to wait.
