| Comments: |
Despite the recent warm temperatures, it was colder today making a frozen trail. Microspikes were fine today from start to finish. Some of the snow is breaking up after the herd path from the Basin to the Flume Slide Trail junction leaving some open water that has to be avoided by hiking off trail. All the signs were dug out and the trail was easily navigated. It looks like people are also using MicroSpikes from Liberty to Flume. There was surprisingly little wind and blue skies up top...awesome! |
