Comments
Comments: Herd path to Haystack Road broken out, as was North Twin trail to the start of the Fire Wardens' trail - snow was pretty sticky. No issues on Fire Warden's trail, met two other hikers - one who had just summited Hale and the other on his way up. Cairn on Summit of Hale barely visible - maybe a foot or so is exposed. Lend-A-Hand was a different story, not sure the last time it was traveled, we had our work cut out for us, thank you Kerry, Terry and Larry with the trail breaking. Found several spruce traps, and one small brook crossing that had drifted over - think that one was just about 5'-4" deep. Trail should be in good shape as there were several other hikers that summited Hale on Monday, February 20.
