Comments: Mt. Prospect (Weeks State Park)

Nice day for the short hike up the auto road to the fire tower. Wore snowshoes, but they were not necessary, as the road was well packed down from snowmobile travel. Spikes would be just fine. All side trails looked packed down too. Met a lot of snowmobilers, and all were friendly and considerate, and driving at a reasonable speed. Also met this great guy named Al, who was on his way up to fill the bird feeder up top, which he does quite regularly. Views were great, as usual, since it was mostly clear. Mt. Washington was socked in but most other peaks were in the open. In my opinion this is one of the best easy hike views in the state.
