One or two large diameter blow-downs, easily crossed, near Moriah summit. Blazing was very good up trail. |

| Comments: |
Cool and crisp, high visibility, no wind. 3 of us used micro spikes the whole day, (packed snowshoes) traction was excellent with some post-holes noted between Surprise and Moriah where it looked like hikers stepped off packed trail ducking low hanging branches. Encountered 3 other hikers on descent. |
