Snowshoes are definitely best for at least the ascent. We boot skied down and did a little butt sliding. Lots of butt sleds but we forgot ours.
At the summit loop on the way up, go left. We tried to connect the loop breaking it out. Trail is really unlevel and not worth it. Also did Sosman which a man postholed to hell but we fixed it with the snowshoes. May need snowshoes for this in the near future as no one was hiking this and the snow is deep. |
