Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Several down tree's required going under, over or around. I got lost several times as did others at most water crossings due to lack of trail markers. There were a couple of crossings where myself and others had gone off in the wrong direction because the snow covering the trail and lack of marks.

Comments
Comments: Left lot and walked on well packed trail till the falls, after that the trail was visible but snow covered. At first ice bridge I put snowshoes on and kept them on for the rest of the trip. At almost every crossing it was very difficult to follow the trail because the snow cover started to make the trail hard to see and tree markings were not visible. At the final crossing several people including myself had gone off in different directions trying to find where the trail was. After 3 attempts I was able to finally pick up the trail. As I neared the top the snow was drifted in so deep and the terrain was so steep that I had to remove the snowshoes and literally crawl. Made it to about 3800 feet, just 400 feet shy of the ridge before calling it quits. Great day to be out because it was warm but all the melting snow on the tree's made for a very wet day as well. Hope this helps anyone heading up this way.
