Lots of melt today. Really really warm and wet. . The steep section was good snow at 9 am. By afternoon, dangerously wet and slick. Needs more snow. You may want to have a rope handy to descend the step if uncomfortable on exposed steep rock. Had to descend in crampons the steep part carefully w ice ax. Trail around the Lions Head wet, slush and melted a lot in pm today. Congrats to Snow Leopard for her first winter Wash summit. |
