Comments
Comments: Went up and down the Cog Railway. Used spikes until Jacob's Ladder, at which point I switched to crampons. I think I could have made it up with just microspikes, but I felt like I wasn't respecting the mountain, and so I made the switch. :) Kept them on until the top, and wore them all the way down. The spikes were balling up a bit on the way up due to the unseasonably warm temps.

Didn't see any other hikers from the parking lot to Jacob's Ladder. There were several skiers, though, so that's an option. Most of them turned around once they reached Jacob's Ladder, but I did see a couple of them make their way to the summit as I was heading back down.

The trail was well packed until Jacob's Ladder, at which point I was more or less breaking trail until I reached the summit. On the way back to Jacob's Ladder, it kinda turned into a wide postholy mess from other hikers that must have reached the summit another way.
