Comments
Comments: went into the woods just up from the cable. the snow was getting sticky so I used spikes. the woods was pretty good most of the way and I was on & off a nice log road all the way up to ames. fog prevented any view chances. coming down from ames the snow was dripping from the spruce so I followed the log road to below the spruce. from there it was a quick climb up to currier hills summit thru good but slippery woods. the snow was clumping to the spikes. coming down I hit the log road and took it all the way down to the gated road where brian and amy had parked. that road goes almost all the way to the ames mt. summit! this was a good workout on my first hike of the year.
