What a difference a day makes. Summit totally fogged. Snow is very wet. Some hikers in snowshoes which I liked for televators. Others in microspike, hillshounds and even crampons. Hillshounds were sufficient for the ice at the summit. Microspikes looked a bit tenuous. Balling of snow was a problem no matter the footwear. If there is a freeze tonight, tomorrow it will be a hard track. There was some activity over to Webster. |
