Comments
Comments: The lower mile and a half of the Mt. Kinsman Trail was a combo of bare ground and significant ice, easily negotiated with light traction. Above that, the snow cover increased and was well-packed, all the way to the ridge and across to South Kinsman with only occasional, minor icy spots. Spur to Bald Peak was mostly bare with some ice.

Wonderful hike with Chris in warm temps, ample sunshine and little wind. We were able to comfortably spend time on both summits.
