Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: all water crossings were good. As long as the weather stays warm, they will stay bridged. There was one crossing on cedar brook where there are two smaller saplings to walk over that will support a 200lb person.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail was decent, some post holes especially closer to the top of North and along the ridge in between. Also there was dog poop along the trail around the jct of cedar brook and upper parts of Hancock Notch trail.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Please pick up after your doggies or find a way to get the poop off the trail!
Bugs
Bugs: none
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: packed out one yak-trak that someone dropped

Comments
Comments: Bagged #36 and #37 with two great buddies and my dad; today even though it was pretty chilly. The walk in via Hancock Notch trail was well packed with different spots of dog crap near the jct of Cedar brook. Cedar brook had a few crossings all mostly bridged over with low levels of water. Took the Hancock loop clockwise and the trail started getting crappy with post holes near the top of North. Beautiful views had a sip of sunshine and had lunch with some gray jays. The ridge also had some post holes so I put on snow shoes just to not have to worry and stayed on top of the crust. Made it to south peak and butt slid down in about 10-15 minutes as it was super fast and steep. Walk out was easy, started at 6am out by 3pm. there is easily 2-3ft of snow pack especially if you step off trail.
