All crossings were easy to cross today. The first crossing was a little tricky. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail was in ok shape marked with yellow blazes and easy to follow. There are a lot of post holes on this trail. So many it would uncomfortable to butt slide if needed. I thank the people who use snowshoes. |

A cold start to this hike as it was 2 when i started and 19 when i finished. I was disappointed in the amount of postholes in this trail as it made it hard to hike this trail weather you wore snowshoes (which i did) or bareboot. I even saw a group of about 10 today carrying them. I just don't get it. Anyways, It was a good clear day for a hike and it was good to meet some people getting their peaks for the first time including Katie and Sherry. I tried to but slide a bit on the way down but with the hardpack it was way to fast and not smooth enough. |
