First true winter 4000' for the family. Well packed out trail from start to finish. We all wore hillsounds for added grip but could have made it with just boots. Amazing views from Starr King, and the blow down shortly pass the Waumbek Summit. Super quick descent on snow covered trails. Car to car in a little over 5 hours. Our son just turned 7 and had zero problems so this is a great one for families looking to get out in the winter. |
