Long time reader, first time submitter.
Broke trail on fresh snow to the Liberty Spring Campsite. Added spikes for the summit approach and ridge. Seemed like we were the first to pass between Liberty and Flume for some time. Significant drifting at the summits but not enough to merit snowshoes. Flume Slide was untracked, though Osseo had seen significant traffic. Saw a handful of others approaching Flume on Osseo. Great views of Owl's Head and the Bonds from the downlook. |
