Group of 3 with Random Group of Hikers -- we all bare booted to start but put on snowshoes at the beginning of the steeps. We kept them on until we got back to the car. The trail is like a powdery superhighway now, but not sure microspikes/crampons will do much at this point -- still not enough traffic yet. We had really frigid temps out but virtually no wind. Great views on the ridge and summits. Winter is finally here! |
