| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
i parked on drake hill road in albany at the start of a woods road shown on the usgs running southeast to just south of haunted pond. the start was blocked with logs and there were no prohibitions against parking there or accessing the trails. i believe the trails are all part of the world fellowship located farther up drake road. |

| Comments: |
i started up the road, a couple inches of snow, immediately noting it is blazed. i passed a junction with an x-c trail then a trail down to haunted pond. i continued up as the road became more of a foot trail, still well marked, up to a nice viewpoint to whitton ledge and pond. a bit higher up the yellow blazed trail turned hard north following along the albany/madison town line where there are also conservation land markers. an unmarked footpath continued from the boundary a short distance up to the summit which has a cairn and limited views. an unmarked trail left southeast, with fresh footprints i retraced my steps then took the trail down to and around haunted pond, which is a neat spot, where there is a unique view to chocorua. rather than follow the trail to the fellowship from the northeast side of the pond i followed an old woods road from the pond down to a campground the did a short bushwhack back to the road i started on. |
