Comments
Comments: Mud and snow below Lonesome Lake. Lower part of Fishin' Jimmy was very wet with running water on the trail. Higher elevations were only snow and ice. Wore Micros from Lonesome Lake all the way up and then most of the way back to the car. Cannonballs were windy at places with snow coming down most of the hike. Deepest snow was maybe six inches or so. Would not recommend without micros, although crampons or snowshoes would have been overkill. All in all a good first "wintery conditions" hike of the year.
