Comments
Comments: All trails are mostly dry and and great shape. Some small step-overs on Thoreau Falls Trail but other than that it's in great shape and very easy to follow. Plenty of leaves blanketing the trails hiding rocks and some minor wet/muddy spots, so watch out for rolling an ankle or stepping into muck.

Beautiful Autumn hike deep in the Pemi. The Nancy Pond Trail dropping from Norcross Pond to the floor of the Pemi and is beautiful hike this time of year, along with the Carrigain Notch, Wilderness, and Thoreau Falls trails too. We checked out some old railroad logging camps on and off trail and had a blast spending the day along these lightly used trails. Thanks Kyle for joining in :)
