| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
8:50 AM arrival and I pulled into the last spot near the map board. Take note to 10-9-16 report and arrive early to get a parking spot, I too ran late! |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
No issues, low water to dry. Note: all conditions indicated above were very minor. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail head marking excellent, easy to follow to start but there were a lack of blazes, I counted 3 on the way up and 6 on the way down. Along the way there were a few places an arrow sign would have been helpful and if you didn't read the White Mountain Guide for that trail you could miss your turnoff. Met up with a hiker that did the trail years ago and was a little puzzled at one junction too! At 2.0 miles clear trail signs with no way of losing trail up to the top. Trail clear, lots of trail maintenance visible! Thank you! |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Lots of pets - well behaved, a few streams for drink |
|
| Bugs: |
None |
|
| Lost and Found: |
Green long sleeve left at base of tower and half way down the trail a blue Nalgen bottle, hung on a tree branch eye level |

There was a celebration at the top for one member of a meetup finishing her 48 along with another gentlemen. On this trail, 30 at the top and 40 plus total through the day, all good company.
Weather chilly around 30 degrees in the morning and 48 degrees at the bottom 5:00 PM. Overall the day was great clear skies no wind and the view at the top just like Cannon Mt - 360 |
