Comments
Comments: We saw 20-25 other hikers, some descending from overnight (perhaps at the campsite), others coming over from Galehead Hut, day hikers too. Temperatures 40-50 degrees. Windy on the summit but bearable with proper gear (hat and jacket), where we spent 45 minutes taking in the amazing views. There was thick frost on the trees at the top. The Garfield trail is in good condition, a not-too-difficult hike (we were up and back under 6 hours) for those looking for rewarding 360 degree views.
