Comments
Comments: Went up Flume Slide Tr, not as bad as expected. Tough but I enjoyed the last mile climb. Great views on all peaks, could enjoy Flume & Liberty then the crowds start on Little Haystack. Looked like a conga line heading up both Lincoln & Lafayette. I wanted to do this hike so I knew what I was getting into. Coming down Old Bridle is brutal on my knees, don't think I will do that again. Winds really picked up on Little Haystack & didn't let up until back in the woods before the hut. Hut was packed, of course but I bypassed & kept going down. A great hike I would love to do again but a different way down. Shout out to Debbie & Charlie for a ride back to my truck.
