Comments
Comments: Dewy start to the day on Old Clough Road. The grass on Old Clough Road is pretty tall but there is a descent single track to follow that is pretty well beaten down. DRQT is in good shape and easy to follow. The Marsh Crossing Trail is a nice link between the DRQT and the Belknap Range Trail creating different loop options. It is easy to follow with many yellow blazes. It crosses nearby a marsh with plenty of beaver activity. The beavers may end up flooding the trail in the future. There is some minor scrambling on the MCT near the summit of W. Quarry Mountain. All trails were dry.
