| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
North Twin Trailhead parking lot about half full. I parked on the edge of the road and someone parked almost touching my bumper, behind me!!! Luckily, nobody was parked in front of me when I got back down so I could actually leave. What kind of a MASShole does that? The one behind me in the lot. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Little River was roaring (after the night's storms) in the morning so I decided to do this loop clockwise to hit it later in the day.... well after 2 hours of T-storms in the afternoon, the river was roaring even more so at the end of the day. I looked upstream, downstream, EEEK - middle of lightning and thunder found a bunch of debris to cross on - VERY unstable but, kept the feet out of the river. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Firewarden trail has several major blowdowns and is very brushy. Other trails are more eroded than I remember - much of the official trails are really just rock-hops (for miles and miles....) amongst the mud. |

| Comments: |
Terrific loop I have been wanting to re-hike for some time now. Lots of great outlooks! Saw almost nobody except on Twinway. Trail conditions were a little rough - most of the trails are mud-pits or streams, some from the rain the night before and the rest from the constant rain/storms the last half of the afternoon. |
