| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
We did an out and back on the Mt Osceola Trail from Tripoli Rd. The trail to Mount Osceola is in great shape. In between the two mountains, we took the bypass around the chimney (left at the fork) when descending to East Osceola, and we climbed the chimney on the way back up to Mount Osceola. The chimney was fun. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
We saw several large and medium sized dogs on the Mount Osceola trail and summit. |
|
| Bugs: |
Black flies and mosquitos in various places along the trail, at the East Osceola summit, and lots in the parking area. Tiny flying black beetle type bugs that seemed to be drawn to white clothing at the summit--dozens of them would quickly cover anything white. They didn't seem to bite or sting at least. |

| Lost and Found: |
A navy and white bandana is hanging from a small tree branch about halfway up the Mt Osceola Trail. |
