Comments
Comments: this was a nice fairly short bushwhack up to the summit with some logging regrowth and heavy areas of fern growth which made footing tough. above the logging was one real steep pitch then nice woods to the summit area and "carls castle" a nice cabin. what were once likely nice views are now very much grown in. a snowmobile trail accesses the cabin from the west though i don't know where it starts. we poked around southwest of the cabin trying to discern a highpoint on the very broad and flat summit. after doing a fair amount of due dilligence and not finding any recognized point (and not leaving anything either) we headed back to the cabin and got the impression it could be as high as any of the numerous other bumps we visited. we descended on pretty much the same route back to gove hill road.
