Parking/Access Road Notes: The parking lot off 116 is small but there were only 2 cars in it when I got there at 6:45.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: Nothing to worry about, easy rock hopping at most. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Mount Kinsman Trail is in fabulous shape! Well blazed and maintained. Great job to whomever has taken the time to work on this trail.

Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few dogs having a great day. 
Bugs
Bugs: Bugs were out in force. More noisy than biting though. Did put on the bug spray at lunch time.

Comments
Comments: This was a nice hike with very little company. Bald Peak is an easy detour and must see. Not sure what book time is for this hike but it took me about 7 hours 15 minutes without rushing.
