Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water crossing on Tom Wiggins trail was manageable to cross in bare feet. Another woman crossed on the mossy rocks using her microspikes just fine, but our group didn't want to take the chance of falling in. Water crossing on Dicey's Mill trail coming down Passaconaway was great-there is a large tree that fell right in line with the trail that we were able to use to cross the river.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail was in nice condition.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I brought my black lab with us and with two or three short lifts over larger rock faces on upper Blueberry ledges, she was fine. She crossed the water crossings on her own and the water was up to her back.
Bugs
Bugs: No bugs yet!
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: My dog lost her hiking pack. It's a green Olly Dog pack. It would be somewhere on the Tom Wiggins trail, after the water crossing (where I know she last had it) and before the really steep part of that trail (where I noticed it missing). I hiked back a bit to look for it, but no luck. It may be in the woods, but if anyone has seen it or sees it on a future hike, please let me know! Thank you.

Comments
Comments: Great weather and temperature on Saturday! The ice has melted in most places. Only a few spots on the top part of Blueberry ledges that were icy and I used microspikes. One section that had thick ice about 5 feet along the Rollins trail, but it was fine to get around. Slush and some ice coming down the loop around Passaconaway, but microspikes helped.
