| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I was dropped off at the Dublin Trail Head and Picked up at Mt. Sunapee... Plenty at both trail heads. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All watter crossings on route are small or bridged. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Nothing of note here... The trail is well traveled. They have rerouted a section due to never activity near Washington NH. Lots of road walking too. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
There's not a lot of free flowing water and what there is is pretty spaced out. If you bring your dog make sure you bring water too. Isis and I took frequent water bowl breaks. She did fantastic on our 15 mile days but this was a long trip for her spaced out over 4 days. |
| Bugs: |
Like a black cloud around my head... 5 in the mouth and one up the nose! |
| Lost and Found: |
I found a chap stick on the Summit Trail coming off of Sunapee. If you really want it... |

| Comments: |
4 day... 48 miles on the Monadnock Sunapee Greenway. Great weather from 4/28 until this morning but luckily the real rain held off until I was on my way down to the parking area at Sunapee. Lots of varied terrain to deal with. Hills, Mountains, Grass Land, Road walks, Ledges over to Mt Sunapee are a blast. All in all a great trip for myself and Isis to get ready for other hikes to come. Please read the blog for more in-depth coverage of the long weekend. |
