Comments
Comments: The trail was muddy but ice free until the junction of Avalon and the A-Z trail where we put on our microspikes and kept them on for the remainder of the hike. Coming down from Field through the Avalon trail would have been nicer with crampons as it is steep and slippery. However it is doable with just microspikes.
