Comments
Comments: Stayed overnight near Nancy Pond. Summited Mt. Nancy via the unmaintained Nancy Trail on April 30th about 11 AM. The cascades, ponds, brooks and Nancy summit were worth the trip on these rugged trails. Still lots of ice and soft snow after the cascades. The trail to Nancy was very rugged and icy. It was slow going for me but the Nancy summit had a great 160 degree view including Mt. Washington. Great days to hike with clear sky and not too hot temps.
I was surprised to see six other hikers at the Norcross Pond brook exit overview as I came down from Nancy. On the descent, I passed three young guys who planned to camp out and hike Mt. Nancy.
