Comments
Comments: Today's snow flurries made trail conditions tricky. Some rock and ledge has a fine layer of black ice. Blue ice bulges are concealed by half an inch of powder (especially on the ascent after the water crossing and the ascents up Whiteface proper). Apart from the trace to half an inch of snow, there's basically no snow in the woods in this vicinity.
