Dog-Related Notes: The rain melted the snow pack to reveal several poop bags left behind by owners...if you are going to do that please just let your dog poop straight up au naturale so it degrades instead of having these colorful ornaments decorate our trails until next Christmas

Comments
Comments: The rains melted the 3 inches of new snow that fell 24 hours earlier. The rain and relatively warm temps actually turned many of the ice bulges down low into slush. Trail very soft combination of 2 to 4 inches of snow with a good bit of ice exposed higher up on the trail. As temps go below freezing the frozen slush holes will turn Into an ankle twisting minefield. Snowshoes would have been suicidal however, as there really is only minimal depth snow and slush, though no real bare spots on trail. Rocks and roots sticking up everywhere.

Where is winter? Thank goodness we have some windmills in Plymouth and Berlin to stop this madness of global warming. I think we all are feeling the Bern!
