Comments
Comments: Road walk was about 2" of powder from Monday night-Tuesday snowfall. XC skiers skied this during the day but tended go through to dirt in places. Almost bare trail under Hemlocks at start of trail, 2-3" new snow over ice and crust thru hardwoods. Firm trail bed higher up with 3-4" powder to top. Microspikes worked fine from switchbacks to top and back to trailhead. Snowing pretty hard on top at times with no views. Nice to chat with the two hikers from Gorham. Just 3 hikers out today.
