Comments
Comments: Went up and down Ski Area. Paid my No Lift fee. Wildcat Ridge trail is covered with around 3-4 inches with some drifts of snow over crust and ice.
Used snowshoes all around. Descending the steeps requires attention due to ice flows under the snow. The majority of the trail to "A" peak is in good shape. The tough section is ascending and descending "C" peak. Also avoided the chute descending "D" peak by using the bushwhack from Polecat Trail.
Didn't see any other hikers today, but a fair amount of skiers having a great day.
