Incredible hike on perfect weather day — mid 20s, no wind, 3 inches of fresh powder, splendid views from Mt. Liberty (blue sky for short period of time). Microspikes were fine going up but slipped handful of times going down; Hillsound .5-inch crampons had no issues on the snow over ice. |
