Comments
Comments: About a quarter of the trail has melted free of snow/ice; the balance has a trace to an inch of snow or ice. I barebooted the ascent without issue, however as the temperatures dropped after sunset, some of the ice firmed up and became slippery on the descent. There's enough bare ledge that "rock spikes" might be better than using new Microspikes.
