Comments
Comments: Finally a day that felt like winter. Had the Hancocks to myself.

Snowshoed Kanc to Kanc although could have barebooted first/last ~3 miles. Went clockwise -- up North first. MSRs w/televators rocked on the steep climb, and there was finally enough snow over the ice that spikes or crampons were unnecessary this day. Snowshoes are the way to go right now.

There was a strong wind and some pretty good drifting on the ridge which got deeper closer to South Hancock, over knee deep in spots. Descent was fast and fun.
