Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The crossing at the bottom of NSBL and several on the Brook trail were open and running, would be touch to rock-hop but only a couple inches deep so fine with waterproof boots.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There are several cairn lines off the summit of Major that aren't any of the mapped/blazed trails. I wound up having to go back to the summit and leaving on a compass bearing to hit the Brook trail.

Comments
Comments: Great day to be out, despite the damp and the forecast. Boulder trail is pretty good but there are places where traction is a big plus; parts of the Brook trail are big sheets of ice.
