Started hike at 1:30. Saw no one. Many patches of ice. Eventually gave in and put on spikes about 1/4 mile from summit and wore them back to the car.
Trip home was nasty...Plenty of black ice on 93. When I got home I realized I still had my spikes on! Actually worked great on our driveway since it was covered with ice.
Had a few sprinkles of rain while at the summit. Nevertheless, great day out. |
