Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Rocks in upper crossings were ice-covered and required care.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Recent trail work/improvements, including long stretches of rock stairs and effective drainage designs, should be the future standard for our overused, heavily eroded trails. It is similar to what is being done in Colorado's 14K'ers. Very impressive! Due to the recent heavy rainstorm, there was running water, mostly frozen, covering the trail for 100', or so, just above the right turn and a couple of minor mud pits down low.

Comments
Comments: Mt. Tecumseh Trail from ski area.
Trail was mostly bare and dry but had many rocks/steps covered with hard to see black ice above the ski area turn. I had no trouble without traction but had to pick my way in spots.
I saw no one on this pretty, but blustery, day.
