Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All seeps are open but hopable. No real true water crossings on this trail. It warm so, the ice is confined to the upper trail.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Does this trail have a maintainer??? It's getting so eroded and the upper cleared sections are just awful. I kept thinking it could use some stairs in the eroded section.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: This trail is iffy for pups of lesser experience. Especially now that the ice is forming. It's glare ice at the moment and Lil' Nugget was struggling in spots. Use caution when thinking of taking fido.
Bugs
Bugs: None... Nada... Zip.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Once glove on the upper KRT.

Comments
Comments: This was a Plan B hike when Plan A was slept through... So, Cannon is one that can be done quickly on good days. But the KRT is in really rough shape. Eroded and hard on the feets. There needs to be some work done before it gets any worse. The ice is just forming as of this hike too so, it's rather tough to judge. I used spikes but even that was pointless as they could not grab anything. We did it though... Took us a lot longer than usual but it was a good day out there.
